Forgotten World III, 2006, Bronze
Collection of The Society of the Four Arts, 2013.2
Forgotten World III is from a series of paintings and sculptures that American artist Norman Sunshine created in 2006. The series, also titled Forgotten World, explores the friction between chaos and order. In Forgotten World III, the carefully balanced shapes and forms symbolize how everyday world events can easily spin out of control and into chaos. Originally born and raised in California, Sunshine now splits his time between Connecticut and West Palm Beach, Florida.
