Donated by the Estate of Noama Donnelly Haggin
Paved in yellow and green Brazilian quartzite, the Plaza provides sweeping vistas of the Sculpture Garden. In 2005, the landscape architecture firm Morgan Wheelock, Inc. redesigned the garden to function as an outdoor museum-like space for fine art sculptures. The redesign included this plaza and other areas for restful contemplation or social gatherings. Below the plaza is the Peggy and Dudley Moore Grand Lawn.
